Women's Health Q&A

A safe space to discuss your health

Women often carry health concerns quietly for too long—whether it is a period that has changed, PCOS symptoms, painful cycles, vaginal discomfort, low libido, menopause symptoms, fertility questions, or concerns about birth control.

At Swift Solutions Medical Center, you can discuss sensitive concerns without embarrassment or judgment. Nadine takes time to listen, understand your symptoms and health history, and help you determine the next appropriate step.

Your care is individualized, confidential, and focused on helping you feel informed and supported.

What women’s health concerns can be addressed by telehealth?

Telehealth visits may be appropriate for many common women’s health concerns, including:

  • Birth control and contraceptive counseling
  • Irregular, heavy, painful, or missed periods
  • PCOS and related hormone concerns
  • Perimenopause and menopause symptoms
  • Hot flashes, night sweats, sleep changes, mood changes, and vaginal dryness
  • Vaginal itching, irritation, discharge, odor, or dryness
  • Urinary tract infection symptoms
  • Sexual-health questions and STI-related concerns
  • Low libido or changes in sexual desire
  • Fertility planning and reproductive wellness questions
  • Medication review and treatment planning when clinically appropriate

Some concerns require laboratory testing, imaging, an in-person examination, obstetric/gynecologic care, or specialist referral. If telehealth is not the safest setting for your needs, you will receive clear guidance on the appropriate next step.

What happens during a women’s health visit?

Your visit begins with a private conversation about your symptoms, health history, medications, allergies, menstrual cycle, sexual health, lifestyle, and goals. Nadine may also review prior laboratory results, imaging, or records when available.

Depending on your needs, your visit may include:

  • A focused clinical evaluation and personalized treatment plan
  • Medication review or prescribing when clinically appropriate
  • Laboratory orders or review of available results
  • Guidance on symptoms, lifestyle factors, and follow-up care
  • Referral recommendations for gynecology, endocrinology, fertility care, or in-person evaluation when needed

The goal is for you to leave the visit with greater clarity and a plan that makes sense for your life.

Can you help with irregular periods or PCOS?

Yes. Irregular periods, acne, unwanted hair growth, weight changes, fatigue, mood changes, and difficulty with weight management can be frustrating and may be related to PCOS or another hormonal concern.

Nadine can review your symptoms, menstrual history, medications, medical history, and available laboratory results. Treatment planning may include medication discussion, laboratory evaluation, weight-management support, and referral when clinically appropriate.

Because similar symptoms can have more than one cause, some patients may need additional testing, imaging, or specialty care.

Can you help with menopause symptoms?

Yes. Perimenopause and menopause can affect more than your menstrual cycle. Many women experience hot flashes, night sweats, poor sleep, vaginal dryness, mood changes, brain fog, fatigue, low libido, and weight changes.

Nadine can discuss your symptoms, medical history, medications, and treatment goals. Lifestyle support, medication options, laboratory review, and referral recommendations may be considered when clinically appropriate.

You should not have to simply “push through” symptoms that are affecting your comfort, sleep, mood, or quality of life.

Can you help with birth control and family planning?

Yes. Nadine provides contraceptive counseling for patients who want to start, continue, change, or better understand their birth-control options.

Your visit may include a review of your medical history, current medications, menstrual history, pregnancy goals, and any health factors that may affect your choices. The conversation is centered on your preferences, health needs, and what feels right for your life.

For fertility planning, Nadine can discuss reproductive wellness, review possible factors affecting conception, and help guide appropriate laboratory testing or referral when needed.

Can vaginal symptoms or UTI concerns be treated through telehealth?

Many uncomplicated vaginal and urinary symptoms may be evaluated through telehealth. Nadine will review your symptoms, medical history, allergies, medications, and relevant testing to determine whether remote treatment is appropriate.

Some symptoms require an in-person pelvic examination, urine testing, pregnancy testing, STI testing, imaging, or urgent evaluation. If that is the safest next step, you will be guided clearly and respectfully.
